Tilman Remme has been writing, producing and directing documentaries, docu-dramas and factual dramas for more than 20 years, broadcasted by the world's most prestigious TV channels. It is Tilman's great passion to take the most dramatic and important historical and contemporary stories and turn them into exciting films for audiences from around the world. Tilman’s films have been shown by the BBC, ZDF, Nat Geo, Smithsonian, Discovery, and France TV. His awards include Bafta, Broadcast, Peabody, Grierson, Banff, Emmy, Cine Golden Eagle and Goethe Science.
Tewe Pannier, a trained newspaper man, has been in TV & film production for more than 25 years. After producing hundreds of hours of factual and entertainment programmes in Germany, Tewe founded GTV Docs’ sister company GTV Film Production in Dubai in 2005. It is one of the very few production houses in the Gulf region that regularly produces high end content for the international TV market. Tewe has been the executive producer and/or director of high quality content and of many blue chip documentaries, produced or co-produced for broadcasters including National Geographic, BBC, Discovery, ProSieben, MBC and many others.
Maria Vargian runs all business and legal affairs at GTV. She passed her bar exam at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, and practiced commercial law before entering the film industry. After joining GTV as a manager, she soon became partner. Maria has since served as an executive producer for numerous international documentaries and corporate films, drafting, supervising and controlling the budgets, work flows and deliveries.
